Canada will next play against a yet to be determined opponent in April to try to get into the Fed Cup World Group. That opponent will be known on Tuesday.

Dutch Fed Cup captain Paul Haarhuis thinks Bianca will be ranked in the top 20 by the end of the year. That may be a little lofty but top 50 is certainly within reach.

Some results in from the ATP tour 250 final championship matches.
We got Jo-Willy Tsonga hampered by injuries the past year or so trying to make a comeback up the rankings besting fellow Frenchman PHH 6-4, 6-2 for the title in Montpelier France.
Sofia, Bulgaria saw the funky 'bullshat Russian' Daniil Medvedev beat the tough looking Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 6-4, 6-3.
And finally in Cordoba, Argentina we got the 'Pepto Bismol upset of the week' for tennis as 112th ranked Juan Ignacio Londero triumphed over 59th ranked Guido Pella in an all-Argentine final by a score of 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 for his 1st ever ATP title, denying Pella of his maiden title in the process.

Londoro beating Delbonis 61 60 in the semifinal was something.
Londero has never won an ATP Tour match before this week.
I should create a blog called, what kind of tennis was that?

Just watching Paire - Wawrinka. Paire had 3 set points, but couldn't close it out and he loses the first set to Stan. The smashed racquet count is currently at one, by the way.

What a tank by Paire in set 2, after Benoit loses the first set in a tie-breaker, Stan wins the second set 6-1 without breaking a sweat.

Chung still struggling to get back to his best form, was up a set and a break on Bashilashvili, but ended up losing 4-6 7-6(1) 6-2. Bashilashvil was not very good today either as he tallied 59 unforced errors, but still won going away in the 3rd set.

Schnur has qualified for the ATP event in New York. I hear he's been sick all week as well.

Going to a third set at Garin takes set 2 7-5 - Very breezy in Buenos Aires tonight and the court is not the best (inconsistent bounces).

Just got broken now down 5-3 that's probably curtains.
Serve not good enough, broken 6 times on 18 break points.

Forehand was really what cost him today, so many loose errors off that wing. Garin did nothing special, I hate negative tennis players.
