Default February 10 with eight games.

Good morning everyone, rise and shine. There's an early game to start the fairly busy Sunday OOT and it's a good one.

Blues are looking very good. Leading the Preds 2-1 in the second. I would not want to face these guys in round one...

3-1 now. Do not want to face Blues or Hawks in the first round.

3-1 now and should have been 4-1.

Berube has these guys rollin.

Very real possibility the Flames could see them round 1.

I think this game today will be the first round match up. Blues look like they have figured things out and are the team many thought they were back around July 4th.

They will pass Minnesota for at least the first wild card spot, if not get the third in the East.

We're most likely to play Vegas, Minnesota or Dallas at this point.

Hawks, come on now...they are both on a run, small sample size

If there is a hockey god the Flames will finish 1st in the West and the Wild will hold on to the 2nd wildcard.

Flames sweep the Wild and watch the Sharks & Knights beat the crap out of each other.

We are talking about the Flames here the team that hasn't had any real kind of playoff sucess in over 25 years other than the 04 run.

BOOM!

Just like that the game is tied at 3.

Ryan Johansson showing why he can be such an effective player.

Tarasenko scores right after puck drop in OT to win it for St. Louis.

What was Josi trying to to there? Tarasenko went right through him, while Josi lazily tried to defend one handed.

I can agree about the Blues, but the Flames have for a long time matched up very well against Chicago. The Flames would win that series.

The Predators will need more top-end talent to have by playoff success

Mcleod was a useless acquisition for them, he's barely a hockey player at this point

Well that goes for any match up...

scared of the Hawks vs. SJ, Vegas, Dallas, if that is the case you are just scared of the playoffs

Hawks have no depth

The Hawks have terrible d-men, their forwards are excellent.

They’ll need a healthy Crawford back in top form to pose much of a threat.

Again

Vegas, Dallas, SJ, Hawks

who would you pick? There is a reason the Hawks are a bubble team in the worst year the western conference has ever seen

If teams like the Hawks scare the Flames they should just pack it in

I am not worried about any possible Flames first round opponent other than some niggling fear of a repeat of the 90s first round chokes.

It's the seemingly inevitable 2nd round match up with the Sharks that scares me.
