Any Zelda fans out there?
Any Legend of Zelda fans floating around CP?
I got the new one, the Twilight Princess for Christmas from my brother. Him and I have been playing Zelda games since we were little kids, and have been hooked on them growing up. I'm not a huge video game guy, it's pretty much just sports games for me, but Zelda has always been the exception to that rule.
I've been playing the new one since boxing day, and my holy freaking god is that game amazing. Absolutely outstanding game play and graphics, tons of cool new things, with the same old awesome stuff tossed in there Zelda fans love... Actually that's one thing I really love about this one - They have incorporated a number of things from various Zelda titles into one game. Pretty nostalgic at times.
Easily gonna be the title of the year for Nintendo IMO.

4x4 loves Zelda. When that game came out for SNES, my brother and I played it for about 2 months straight. Never could find that last goddamned quarter heart.

Ha! Tell me about it, that heart piece just doesn't exist, it can't. I spent many 'o weeks trying to find it when I was younger.

I love Zelda games as well. Much like you, that's one of the few non-sports game i will ever play. Was a huge fan of Ocarina of Time which is possibly the best game ever made. I am still waiting to play Twilight Princess because I do not have a wii as of yet. I have a gamecube, and considered just getting it for that, but I don't want to miss out on the uniqueness of the wii gameplay. If I don't get a wii pretty quickly though, I will just give in and get it for Gamecube.

I absolutely love zelda, I haven't played much in the last 2 weeks (although I have played like 6 hours in the last 2 days) I just got to the lakebed temple, just scoping it out, seeing what's there, and if the Titans game wasn't on TV I'd probably be playing it right now.

I am going to pick this one up for Gamecube next paycheck. I got hooked on the original NES and SNES versions and been playing the series ever since.

That's funny, I just got there too actually. How about Link's water suit? Geez that thing looks crazy.

I suspect I've lost a good number of months out of my life playing Zelda on NES with my room mate at the time...
Have not really played it since though.

Yeah it's pretty sweet. I just got to the Desert now, I should probably put the controller down.

The wife got TP for me for Chirstmas on the Gamecube. It is pretty sweet so far, good graphics, excellent gameplay and you still get to move boxes around!
A fellow CP'er sold me the Gamecube version of Ocarina of Time, and I love that game. Wind Waker was pretty cool too, but I think Twilight Princess is going to be just awesome.

I'm a big Zelda fan as well and am nearing the end of Twilight Princess.
I do have a couple of complaints about this one...
a) Twilight Princess seems more linear then other Zelda games in the past. There were more side stories and quests to do in other games, whereas this one is just like... dungeon to dungeon. But maybe thats my own fault.
b) The storyline is very vague, at best. It doesn't really explain what or why things are happening very well at all. I wish the story was a lot more blunt.
