Anybody see tonight's NXT episode? Excellent hour of action. Pushed deeper into the Dream/Gargano/Ciampa angle with Dream passing Ciampa to challenge Gargano for the North American championship, Drew Gulak wrestling two fantastic matches in a row, the awesome debut of Eric Bugenhagen (who is basically rock'n'roll Rick Rude), and Io Shirai pinning Shanya Baszler in a three-woman tag match.

It's unbelievable the quality in shows between NXT and Raw/Smackdown. Just night and day.

I just love the Sky Pirates. Its funny watching Shayna in the ring with Shaffir and Duke. Duke just seems so uncoordinated.

Great episode all the way through.

Going back to the Sky Pirates, they play crazy so well and BB played up almost the start of a heel turn with a look like I wanted to glory.

Ciampa and Gargano are so incredible at what they do.

Double or Nothing tickets go on sale on Wednesday, pre-sale on Monday. AEW also announced a partnership with AAA and looks like we're getting Bucks vs. Lucha Bros. Hangman Page vs. PAC (formerly Neville) also announced.

Not sure why this was ever in doubt.

Always felt like it was pretty much guaranteed that he would be a part of it.

Yeah, hard to see the Khan's going in on the deal without getting Kenny onboard as their franchise player.

I'm actually quite impressed with AEW's rollout so far. They've made big announcements at each event, but let enough mystery for people to tune into the next one. I imagine the next big announcement is the TV deal, which will probably happen at Double or Nothing.

I've like the roll out so far, and the talent that they're getting.

I always have a fear of a wrestling company being booked by active competitors, it has historically always turned out badly.

The guy they should be targeting is Paul Heyman, that guy would be money for the AEW.

Even as a back stage encyclopedia. They should also go after some experienced producers.

Think Jericho will help with that.

Was there for WCW and the guys seem to respect him. Just needs to keep his own ego in check.

Jericho's a great creative mind when it comes to his character, and his matches, he has very little experience in terms of booking beyond that, unless you're talking the CWF (Christian Wrestling Federation, for more on that read his awesome book)

My money is on the next event will announce a TV Deal and the signing of Kota Ibushi (exclusive to the US, not exclusive elsewhere).

I'm curious to see who's going to be the first to jump from WWE to AEW.

Dean Ambrose will be a Free Agent in April.
AEWs first ppv is on May 25 (headlined by two Winnipegers!).

I suspect Ambrose will show up at the PPV?

Rumor is WWE is trying to extend the Usos, whose contracts are also up in April. Rumors are swirling that Usos are not extending, and are wanting a the potential dream match vs the Young Bucks.

I've seen the opposite that the USO's don't have much interest in leaving WWE.

I'm not super worried about the talent booking themselves too much because Cody has said in the interviews that it's going to be more of a sports oriented promotion a la Mid-South Wrestling, as opposed to sports entertainment.

Sounds like Fenix, one half of the Lucha Bros and who just signed with AEW, suffered a neck injury tonight in a match and rushed by ambulance to the hospital. Here's hoping for a quick recovery, and it's not serious. Dude is a serious talent.

I thought that was really funny. However I'm not crazy with the whole Becky refusing to see a doctor story line.

My theory is they’ve come up with this sub storyline between Becky & the Authority to draw the boo birds away from Ronda. Seems like the crowd really buried Ronda with boos when Becky confronted her on RAW. And we all know how Thin skinned Real life Ronda is

I've been half watching WWE lately (as my gawd the writing has been just awful).

That said, I don't know why, but I feel like Becky's injury is a work in the storyline. I feel like her character is perfectly fine, but is playing up the injury to give a false sense of confidence to Rhonda, all while telling the truth. If Becky got checked by the fictional doctors, then they'd know there is no injury.

Is that too meta, too smart for WWE creative? Now... now I'm questioning myself.
