Prout has to draw in... In today's NHL he qualifies as a heavy. The sharks don't have anyone who can match up with him. Kane is a middleweight who spot picks and assaults women... Human trash. Dillon is a huge punching bag. Thornton and burns are tough but rarely go. Though they probably top to bottom have more guys who can fight if it turns into a brawl.

I wish the flames 13th forward was more of a mucker who could draw in for mang in games like this. Czarnik hasn't added much and for me if you're going for skill in that slot... Quine has earned it over Czarnik anyway.

Yah let’s not go there given you can’t prove that to be true.

Change your game for no one.

We have a winning formula here, I hope we don't make some kind of game plan around showing we can be tough. Let Kane have a hissy fit when his team is getting buried. Destroy them on the scoreboard, where it counts, like last time. That worked out pretty well. Any extra curricular adventures are just us getting away from what we do best.

But you know, also don't be lethargic if they start taking cheap shots.

I have no doubt the Sharks will try to bait the Flames in to losing their cool, and these comments could be a pre-facing to that.

But this is the Sharks biggest game of the year, and they know it. I can't see it escalating too much, but it makes for a fun storyline if anything.

Journalism is a joke. What a sucker for a title of an article.

"We'll see," is a metaphor for, "I expect fireworks for our next match."

Kane will make a move in this. Calgary has guys that will fight back but not really cause a problem. If I'm Bennett or Tkachuk I go out and get in their heads right away. Force them to wait for that big hit or late poke and skate all over them.

Keep Hitting too. Never stop making them hate you.

There is plenty out there to conclusively say he is a dbag to women. That he didn't cross the line into it being criminal in public is not exactly a ringing endorsement of the guys character. Lots of witnesses saw him get smashed and pull girls around bars by the hair and lay hands on them. A judge said he was a ###### just didn't cross the line into being criminal. The actual behind doors serious assault case against another woman wasn't proven but he's no saint. He is a piece of trash character wise. Fronting like he's some kind of white knight upholding a moral code against Bennett ridiculous.

Not judging anybody who isn't ready to conclude he's a scumbag off the ice but I'm there already.

Prout should be play and line up on the opening face-off opposite of Kane, and let’s see what Kane does.
There is no bigger loser in the NHL than Kans. This guy is an enormous tool.

Would it be classless to chant "Whose the father?!?!" when he is on the ice / penalty box (referring to the$3 million abortion claim) or play Billie Jean

Dress Prout, Benny can fight. Win the game is all that matters, if that idiot Dell didnt hack Bennett none of this would have happened.

Edit- referring to the Bennett vs Kane
Kanes a little bitch with a big mouth. They've fought before and I'd give Bennett the upper hand.

It's a poor attempt at trolling by Kane IMO. The Flames are a skill team, and he wants to get away from that.

It sounds more to me like Francis doing what he does, getting people to read stuff he writes. He reeled us in again.
Nothing much to see here at all. Kane does not say anywhere that he 'expects more fireworks'.

fair enough - I didn't read the quote, just reacted to the suggestion. My bad. Not that it wouldn't be beyond Kane to do that.

If we play a fast game, finish our checks hard and beat them on the scoreboard... Kane can run around looking for retribution in the 3rd all he wants. We could ice this before the 3rd anyway, especially with what they have in net.

If they start taking runs, we may not have the biggest guys... but Prout/Bennett/Tkachuk/Hamonic would be enough to stop whatever the Sharks can get going, and none of them are a liability when Kane is out there. Couldn't think of an easier 'threat' to neutralize, though this is 100% fabricated by a) knowing Kane will run around anyway b) a journalist needing a headline

These are definitely the games a Ferland or Simmonds type player takes over, but definitely not anything we need a fighter out there for.

Excited to watch Bennett and Tkachuk tonight. These are the types of games they thrive in. I say a goal for both and one for James Neal too!

Why give Kane the satisfaction?

Fight every goofus with a big mouth?

Don't fight him. Specifically avoid fighting him and taunt him into taking penalties.

score on the ensuing powerplay. Goad him into another penalty.

repeat as necessary.

Tkachuk has been particularly quiet since the break. This is the perfect game and perfect opportunity for him to have an impact. In the NYE game Tkachuk had 2 goals and 4 points.
