Serious question. What is the maximum number of players the Oilers could send down/recall at once?

Is it possible to demote half their roster and call up half their AHL team?

This one is really nice.

Was at the 'debacle of monumental proportions'. It wasn't really a collapse, but was good also.

The 'Miracle on Manchester' is still my personal favorite, I think. But that was like 35 years ago.

This is literally the worst defensive effort I've ever seen by 5 players.

Just you wait, Katz saw those jersey's hitting the ice and felt a lump in his throat, not because of anything hockey related, but because he's looking at the renewals in the off season, especially the luxury box renewals.

I'm betting a panicked make the playoffs no matter what it costs and impacts the future of this franchise went out to Keith Gretzky 30 seconds after the second jersey hit the ice.

Look for the Oilers first and JP and Yamamoto to be packaged for a pure rental scoring winger like Stone.

That would be hilarious, because there’s no way in H-E-double hockey sticks that he would re-sign there after the season is over. I would feel kind of bad for Stone, though, going from the toilet to the sewer.

If seeing an Oiler jersey get tossed on the ice doesn’t warm your heart I don’t know what will. Beautiful.

I love this season so much, and the jersey toss is just the cherry on top. Right now the most gratifying thing about the Oilers struggles is that they are just 3 pts from the bottom of the barrell in the west, yet they still have a sliver of a chance in terms of reaching a wild card, which puts them firmly in desperation mode for the foreseeable future. One win and the "still in the conversation in february"-banner will be raised at Rogers, which makes the possibilty of them pulling some incredibly stupid trade dealine move so much greater. It's fantastic!

The problem is that they don't even have enough cap space ($4.2M) for their existing players (Sekera @ $5.5M) coming back off IR.

No way can even ponder Stone's $7.3M salary unless Ottawa retains salary or Edmonton trades a roster player back, but nothing on there are no good value-for-money contracts on the Oilers' roster that Oilers management wouldn't want to hold on to (McDavid, Draisaitl...)

Is this the last we see of Talbot in an Oilers jersey?

Too funny hearing Hitch’s explanation for the pull being in place of a timeout. You just used your timeout to challenge the goal!

I think there is an old wives tale that if you see a jersey tossed at Rogers Arena, it's going to be a long offseason in Edmonton.

I believe that's three straight games in which they've given up a third period lead and lost?
