I’ll admit that I am less and less inclined to turning it off the more people complain about something this trivial.

Yeah, I can totally see your reasoning for making the switch. Brilliant change up.

Wouldn’t they see the OOT score at the top of the screen anyway?

Fans have been saying the same thing for literally ever since the game started in the late 1800's. Though that can be said for all sports as well.
However, even if you think its "atrocious", which you have every right to believe, (and i agree there have been a few games/incidents this year which left one shaking their head) it does not mean it isnt better than the other pro sports. I believe it most certainly is when you factor in the speed of the game along with other factors.

Hockey reffing is incredibly hard. Given all factors, I think they are in the middle of the pack of sports officials. Bette than CFL, NBA, worse than NFL (though that's been getting worse). I find soccer and baseball officiating just so weird that it doesn't compare at all.

Possibly, but some of us intentionally avoid looking at it. Is it so difficult to honour this courtesy? Posters have occasionally complained about the OOT spilling into the GT and vice versa. I don’t think it is an unreasonable complaint, and one that is easily addressed and accommodated.

You missed where I said today.
But I also understand someone named BigBrodieFan being sensitive about criticism towards the player.

I think baseball is the best. Saying that the strike zone is an amazingly hard area to keep consistant.

I can't believe you actually wrote this. She's a former professional and gold medalist. Did Kelly go to broadcast school? You are the problem, not her.
