I don’t know if SN’s shot counter is the official one, but Monahan did not get credited with a shot on the Flames power play. A wonky shot counter in Raleigh could be part of why the Hurricanes manage to outshoot their opponents frequently.

Why does Carolina sound 3000x louder than Washington? Maybe it's cause I'm on the american feed. SNET has no crowd presence in their broadcast, drives me nuts.

Hard to blame him for a random bounce off a stanchion when he made the right play. Carolina is getting away with a ton of holding, interference and slashing and really pressuring the D with Prout in for Hamonic. Flames’ timing is still a bit off from the break and the combination of all of these is leading to a lot of turnovers in high risk areas.
Cassie Campbell really is emblematic of the issues in the broadcast industry. Trained broadcaster? Nope. Highly knowledgeable? Not really. Former player? A WOMAN? Let’s bring her in at the highest level of the job!
Really?
Wow.

What does it mean to be a trained broadcaster? I mean she has been broadcasting for 13 years.
How do you qualify whether someone is highly knowledgeable? You'd think a former captain for Team Canada (which also qualifies her as a former player) would have some degree of knowledge...

So since Smith isn't playing, people need to pick on Cassie? You people are ####ing ridiculous. Stop complaining and try just enjoying the game for once.
