Hamonic didn't look good at all. Knee in awkward position.

Hows that not a delay of game penalty for taking the net off.

Disagree entirely with your take.
Smith's improved. His recent save percentage is only slightly below the league average. For a backup, that's not an enormous concern. I do think an upgrade should be pursued but it's not a pressing need -- he's been so reviled that some people have begun to lose objectivity.

Anyway, the reffing tonight has been awful. What is going on out there?

Did the Capitals dodge another penalty on Lindholm?

Crazy.

Flames need some turtle power.

So here is one turtle helping another.

Petition for Neal to reincarnate Bennett’s moustache on his face. All will be forgiven.

Ridiculous non calls.

The interference was brutal. Then Lindhom hooked to end that dominating shift.

Incompetence.

It’s something else, and it’s bizarre that it’s tolerated at this level of the game.

The reffing has been comically bad already, smith let in a goal on the first shot after a brutal giveaway and glass hamonic got injured. It can only go up from here boys!

The refs have lost this game already... what a joke

Missed blatant interference 11/10 times
2 handed slash on Johnny’s o-zone dangles
Complete grab and hold of Lindholm right before this last break

Just a #### show here...

Flames playing well here though.

Let slone delay of game - the guy was reaching in hard on lindholm there. Just this reffing is brutal. Hamonic injured cause refs dont call a penalty earlier.

Nah, you are out to lunch. League average includes starters and backups. AND his recent resurgence is below even that average. He is garbage but you thought David Jones was also good.

His recent save % of .903 is good for 34th in the league. Not slightly below league average.

Your posts are lacking in objectivity. League-average save-percentage this year is .908, significantly lower than previous years. Smith's last 13 games sees him at a .903. In his last 12 decisions, he's at a .912. He looks out-of-sync and maligned, but he's been slightly-below-average at worst lately.

Also, David Jones a) has nothing to do with anything and b) was a cool guy, I don't care what you have to say about him. Just comes across as a weird personal dig.
