Smith's improved. His recent save percentage is only slightly below the league average. For a backup, that's not an enormous concern. I do think an upgrade should be pursued but it's not a pressing need -- he's been so reviled that some people have begun to lose objectivity.

The reffing has been comically bad already, smith let in a goal on the first shot after a brutal giveaway and glass hamonic got injured. It can only go up from here boys!

Nah, you are out to lunch. League average includes starters and backups. AND his recent resurgence is below even that average. He is garbage but you thought David Jones was also good.

His recent save % of .903 is good for 34th in the league. Not slightly below league average.

Your posts are lacking in objectivity. League-average save-percentage this year is .908, significantly lower than previous years. Smith's last 13 games sees him at a .903. In his last 12 decisions, he's at a .912. He looks out-of-sync and maligned, but he's been slightly-below-average at worst lately.

Also, David Jones a) has nothing to do with anything and b) was a cool guy, I don't care what you have to say about him. Just comes across as a weird personal dig.
