Great thread idea.

My fave is esksfans.com. I'm an Esks' fan. Don't hurt me. :-)

But some of the above are not so obvious what they're about and it would be good if the poster would in those cases indicate what the site is all about or comment on the site. Otherwise we have no idea what many of these sites are about.

Others faves are advisor.ca (great info and a chat board for financial planners like me; I'm a regular poster there) and imdb.com (Internet Movie Data Base, 'cause I love to watch movies). I also go to ebaumsworld.com forum. The folks there are idiots sometimes, but idiots can be very entertaining. I also love this site, although I'm an Oilers' fan. I also like other fan sites like the Riders' fan site, because I like to know what the enemy is up to. Also like cruisecritic.com. If you ever take a cruise or travel anywhere, there are folks there who know about it (feel free to ask non-cruise questions, such as I have recently on scuba diving in the Red Sea). It's just about the most heavily used forum I've ever seen. I've posted and then go to look at my post and immediately it's already about eighth down the list.
