I find Shannon kind of harmless. He's not a guy I look to for great NHL insight like Brian Burke or trade rumours such as Bob McKenzie but at least he's not one of those hot take (Steven A. Smith, Skip Bayless) guys like Kypreos has become where they say stupid things just to get a rise.

That's actually a Gremlin not a Pinto but yeah ugly as hell.

My Tacoma has the Inferno colour and is actually closer to Oiler orange than I'd like but I still don't mind it.

I think a Flames plate would go well with it and I just might pull the trigger.

Hmmm, I believe that particular model is an AMC Gremlin. However, your point stands.

Beaten to it by Chummer who also knows his "classic" cars.

When I was a kid growing up we had one of these beauties in Oilers orange. It was awesome.

Shannon goes nuts, defends Nicholson and patronizes the rest of the cast at 54:00.

At 59:46, he trusts his "instincts" about McDoofus and him wanting to stay in Edmonton long term.
Shannon is no good, I agree. But wow what a brutal line up. Bob Mcowan, Arash Madani, John Shannon. How does Brunt put up those guys? That was painful to listen to.

And how about that intro to the Oilers segment around 44 mins? “You’re only allowed to call him Bob. People who call him Bobby are now forced to call him Mr Mcowen.” So cringeworthy.

Prime time Sports is no good.

Brunt is buddy buddy with McCown and has been a guest on his show forever.

This is an orange Ford Pinto.

Don't let MacTavish get near it.

On the Edmonton Oilers’ 2015-16 playoff hopes:
“Fantastic. I think for sure playoffs. I tell you who’s going to be lights-out this year is Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall.

“They went over to the World Championship and played with Crosby, which is similar to Messier and Gretzky. Not that they needed any encouragement but those two Oilers flanked Mario Lemieux at the crucial moment of the Canada Cup in ’87. Now you have two Oilers flanking Sid to a gold. You watch Eberle take off. He’s already been great in international hockey, but I think this is going to be his year, Taylor Hall’s year.

“And Connor McDavid and Darnell Nurse will fit in. Gimme a glass of wine or a beer, and I think in two years they win the Cup. That may be a little eager, but I don’t think more than four.

4 years later, fans in Edmonton will pass that bottle of wine or beer to Maclean so he can join in.

^ Good gracious. Layering hoodies under a sport coat? Then a vest on top?

I'm no peter12 but that is embarrassing. Needed to bring his girlfriend there and not have these glorified salesman pounce on him push him into terrible clothes and convince him to be some sort of guinea pig for thier company's awful concepts and terrible style.

That really is the puffy shirt eposide from Seinfeld all over again. I'm sure he's getting paid to wear these clothes but have some self respect man.

I had a Loilers fan tell me today that the Loilers will win another cup before the Flames do.

I told him to start buying bottled water.
