Probably knew he was going to be fired and made a deal with Koskinen to send him half his salary on the down low for the next four years. No team will give Chia another chance, so may as well get a little scratch from his last move.

We have been so blessed by the Oilers suffering over the last 13 years. Some great times. This is the 4th 'worst' season for us to make fun of them over that time, and it still feels incredible.

Roenick is spot on, except where he said it is "just awful to watch".
He should have said it is "just awesome to watch". I only hope it last for years to come.
