Columbus (AP) - The Columbus Blue Jackets announce the acquisition of Olli Jokinen from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Patrick Marleau and Mark Tobin.
"We feel Jokinen is a more balanced player, which has been working for this club this year, "GM Trotta stated, "Marleau was not doing well on this club, and we hope a change of scenery will help him. We are also impressed with Jokinen's contract."
