That is amazing, love it! I look forward to seeing that in action. I love the confidence this shows.

Love the mask, and the player wearing it as well.

Hopefully Rittich keeps it up this year and beyond. He has really grown by leaps and bounds on the fan base.

I love it. It shows true commitment to this team. I think he sees himself here long term, possibly on a championship team. I sense that contract talks are going pretty well for him at the moment for him to do this.
Couldn’t have put it better myself. Can’t wait for him to succeed with this team. We are so lucky to have this team to watch right now.

Trevor Kidd is painted in the cage if you look carefully.

Yeah but you're probably talking about Kiprusoff. I remember being bummed about Lemelin's place being claimed by that rookie upstart Vernon.

You know you're getting older when the new goalie's mask is a tribute to a guy who went to your high school around the same time.

The detail is unreal.

Incorporating the history of the team, the province, and himself into the mask is unbelievable.

the mountains near the bottom of each side, and if you look closely, the red cross of St. George, are all details from the Flag of Alberta. Pretty cool.

I sure hope not. That would de-value this mask in a huge way. Ugh.

Rittich is an awesome person and a damn good goalie. Please put #34 in the rafters please.

What a gorgeous mask. It's very cool of him to pay tribute to the two goaltenders that paved the way for this franchise's most significant moments.

Me after the Oilers game: "Is it possible to love this man who I have never met any more than I already do?"

Rittich: "Hold my beer."
