Not only that, but how they only lost to Anaheim because of a couple calls from the refs. I never listen to CHED, but I thought it would be interesting today if there was a firing.

The butt kissing of Stauffer towards Lowe tells me that Lowe will be the interim GM when Chia is gone.

How many powerplays do they need per game to even get within touching distance of winning?

Don't know why he would complain about officiating. Last night a linesman actually skated into a Carolina defender to make sure the Oil had a 2 on 1.

The guy goes to a game where a non playoff team is playing the NHL's 2nd place team and he wants his money back because his crap team loses 5-2.

It's just easier to blame officiating than accept the reality.

Sounds like they've 100% bought into Gulutzan's Just Not Ready initiative.

Stauffer thinking the Andersson comments are something the Oilers can rally around, like Petrie a few years back. We all heard those Petrie comments on air, so produce the tape of Anderssons comments Bob, or it didnt happen. Fabricating a story about a rookie, c'mon man. I hope you eat your own #### soon Stauffer.

Ehh, in fairness, they went to the finals with McDavid, had four straight 50 win seasons, and did win the J. Ross Robertson Trophy in 16-17. They didn't fully climb the mountain while McDavid was there, but it is fair to say that they did become a "model franchise" for a while. Fell right off a cliff last year though.

Oilers fans are like the NHL's version of Rider fans. They think because their 'passion' has seen them spend countless dollars over the the last 15 years collecting jerseys with Schremp, Nilsson, Gagner, Souray, Omark, Pulaajrvi-Svenson, Eberle, Hall, and Lucic namebars that they 'deserve' Stanley Cups.

I would wager a substantial amount that it was never said...Stauffer is a sensationlistic, kool-aid drinking, Kevin Lowe lackey who has zero cred within the media fraternity.

In fact I would also bet he was hand fed that BS by someone in the management group.
