David Rittich owes the flames nothing. He’s been nothing short of a season saver given how Smith has crumbled.
Teams are targeting up high right now but in this game I’d say he looks like he’s made the adjustment. A couple great examples on McDavid of how he looks to be making concerted effort to cover high short side.
Just feels like nitpicking commenting on that one.

Not surprising all the talk about McDavie and the Oil by these SN talking heads. I laugh when I think how much more putrid these guys and their talk would be if McDingles played for the Leafs. The Flames and the Sens seem to be the 2 Canadian teams that get the least fanfare from anyone at SN. One is a top team in the league and the other is a basement dweller. You'd think the Flames could get some recognition. However no. Let's keep up with the narrative of late of poor McBaby being abused out there playing hockey... a physical sport... you're the best player on your team... every team gameplans around you... I am willing to bet "finish your checks on that guy" is part of the conversation.
Anyway, the way this is going, the Flames may have to beat out 2 teams in the 3rd; the team in orange and the team in stripes.

I have been tweeting at Friedman non stop but he doesn't reply. I have been wishing for McLean, Hrudey and Friedman to be gone for months as they are all terrible. Have hated Ron McLean since he worked at CKRD in Red Deer 40 years ago.

This rage seems somewhat misplaced. I think all three of those guys are solid professionals with a good rapport. Could they stand to talk about McDavid less? Yeah. But I think they generally do a fine job, Friedman especially.
