Gotta give credit to the bottom 6 guys tonight. They carried the team to victory tonight. Bennett, Neal, Ryan had unbelievable games and even Smith had himself that incredible save at the end there.
That new look PP2 unit was the biggest difference maker tonight though. I’ve been hoping for a while to see Rasmus Andersson utilizing that bomb of his and to see Neal in his old spot with Vegas by the net where he’s had success and it’s completely paid off as Detroit had no idea what hit them. This make the PP so much more dangerous with 2 productive units.

In spite of shoddy goaltending this team doesn't quit when 8t comes to the 3rd. Big play by Smith playing puck hard off glass.

I used to be a Derek Ryan hater at the beginning of the season. Pass some of that crow please! He does everything right, and drawing that penalty near the end of the game was clutch.

When smith plays the game is stressful to watch... they played like crap and won a game they should have lost. I’m glad they won but man they need that 8 day break to reset
