The defence is taking a ton of heat, don’t know what bird you’re reading.

But Smith can follow the shooter and still stay in his net. The defence of this terrible player is laughable.

He overplayed it to that side. Followed too aggressively and positionally it was terrible. Made himself small then wasn't able to recover at all because he was too far over.

The chance shouldn't have happened at all, Geo-Brodie deserve blame as well but Smith just can't get the job done. Unless we score five per game when he plays, we're hooped.
