Digging way back to the ultraviolent exploitation/horror flicks of the 70's, Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez have teamed up to create Grindhouse. For those who may be unfamiliar with the term, watch the trailer to get the defenition.
The first flick on the bill will be Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror"...break for some fake trailers (QT's "Cowgirls in Sweden" and Rodriguez's "They Call him Machete") then on to QT's "Death Proof"
Now, if you're the type who only looks for substance in movies you can skip this one because you're not gonna find it here. Don't get me wrong, I like substance in movies but I do love some plain old fun from time to time and boy does this ever look like fun. It's gonna be bloody, fast, and pretty damn sexy, in other words full of exploitation, but what else can you expect from two guys who spent their time growing up watching drive in cinema and Pam Grier flicks.
