I think it's fair to say most NHL goalies make that save.

I thought the Flames had it for sure in OT after nullifying the Butterknives', breaks in the 3rd, but ah well I spose these happen once in a while.

Not sure Rittich can be blamed for any of the last 3 goals. Weird tip, perfect screen, perfect shot from Eichel.

The game rests on Gaudreau turning a 3 on 1 into a nothing, and the Buffalo winner ultimately.

CGY had too many needless give aways and it came back to bite them. Their game has to come up a notch - maybe it's all the back patting going on but other teams are more desperate right now.

CGY can play faster, move the puck faster, when they do that they can really put teams on their heels. They need to get back to that.

EDIT- I should say back patting by the media - haven't heard the players mention it but when it's in the air people will hear it.

Dahlin straight up hipchecked Tkachuk away from the puck. That should be a penalty 10 out of 10 times.
As for Rittich, maybe could've been better on the 3rd and 4th goals, but they were perfect shots. First goal was a breakaway and the 2nd was a double deflection top corner.

I hope Neal is back Friday. I mean this. That line was starting to look better and I thought they were way less effective with Czarnik.

Rittich played like AHL Dave, and we still got a point, on to the next one...

Agreed.

Everything stacks better. Hamonic back for at least Saturday would be nice too.

9 times out of 10 that is another loss for the Sabres

as i said in the gt, sabres didn't even deserve a single point. i guess we can thank the nhl's completely broken points system that this frustrating loss doesn't hurt that much

Yeah but that's not why they lost. Missed calls happen as really the 3rd Flames goal shouldn't have counted because Lindholm high sticked a Sabre. This isn't a game to whine about the officiating.

I’d be more interested in getting Hammer back.

We’ll have to disagree on that one then. I thought the Eichel line was far better than Backlund’s line.
