No established GM is going to go there. The Oilers are in a impossible situation to fix without time.


Cap problems, prospect problems, depth problems at the NHL level.


Add to that you just had a owner that's pretty much said, F the future, playoffs now. You have the old boys club in managment.


I don't see a Yzerman or most of the other available GM's or assistant GM's looking at Edmonton as a good choice.


And don't get me started on coaches.

Nope. I will cheer for the national team but not McDavid as long as he is signed with the Oilers. I just can’t bring myself to do it.
