Jackets force Bobrovsky to miss Nashville game

So, I was kind of right.


According to The Athletic, the incident was when he got pulled against Tampa Bay, he went to the dressing room and showered with no intention of returning to the bench.


And apparently it was his teammates who made an issue of it (Atkinson, Jones, Jenner, among others) and pulled him aside before the flight.

I always read it as "go #### the ref"

That whole scenario was insane but Big Ern was the best part. He almost single-handedly dealt with both teams.

You see him standing in the middle of the hallway but that doesnt do justice to his part. Torts was losing his mind and Hartley was openly encouraging him, I forget who our trainer was at the time but he was all-in.

And in the middle of it all was Big Ern. He just defused the whole thing.

I never noticed the hand before but yeah he definitely pushes McGratten. I’m always staring at Hartley and Malarchuk when I watch these replays.

In fact, it almost looks like McGratten says the line that Gaskal quoted.

The best part of that clip is in the very top left hand corner. I don’t know who’s face it is but if you watch, it looks like he gives an intense hiss directed toward Torts
