This is more comic related but figured it was interesting enough to share here.

Jimmy Palmiotti, Joe Quesada, Kevin Smith and others discuss the Marvel Knights imprint that launched 20 years ago (and helped save Marvel Comics?).

It’s a long read with creators from all four books but is well worth it IMO.

Must be a mistake? That's clearly just a false statement.

I always agreed with this point. I think the XMen carry enough stories and characters to be part of their own universe (and why not? Arguably make more money by spreading it out more).

But lately I've been thinking it's kind of perfect timing. Humanity must be aware of what has happened. Maybe we'll find out in Endgame just how much the people of Earth know about the Snappening. With fear still built across the world from Civil War and the Registration Act still in effect, you could argue for a real nasty turn onto superpower individuals. Especially ones that are, as mutants are, technically a sign of human extinction.

Could be the perfect aftermath to throw the XMen into.

There's probably a good chance that Deadline Hollywood's official twitter account is not @DEALDNIE.

Watching that video just makes me feel bad for them. They thought in the moment what they were making was so special. I guess that's what most bad movies think from inside.

Titans is on Netflix now. I've nearly burned through the series and it's not nearly as bad as the trailers made it out to be. Some spots are really dark though.

So is SOLO, watched it again. I like this movie. I actually think it was a really good movie. Yes, really good.

What is going on in this thread? Last page there was a post praising Suicide Squad and now a post saying Solo was very good.

What's next? Superman IV is an underrated classic? Catwoman is a misunderstood feminist masterpiece? Iron Man 3 is my favourite movie in the MCU? BvS should have been Oscar nominated?

Uh I think you're the one out of touch. You're comparing Suicide Squad Catwoman and IM3?

Solo isn't even in the same league as those pieces of crap.

The actor playing Solo was not good so it hurt the movie but I enjoyed it despite his performance.

Neither is Iron Man 3. Didn't love it, but much better than Catwoman and Suicide Squad. It's in the same realm as Solo, disappointing yet still watchable.

I have a special hate for IM3. Amazing trailer after a weak sequel. Looked like they would use a classic villain (Mandarin) and touch in some classic storylines.

Instead they ruined Ben Kingsley with the weakest villain of any Marvel movie to date with that lame “he’s an actor” BS and they bastardized the comic storylines they ripped off.

I think it’s the worst Marvel movie to date.

I'm pretty sure there's a snowball's chance that the Mandarin was ever going to be like in the comics.

They've made the Infinity Gauntlet seem cool, they might have been able to do it with Mandarin's rings too. Though doing it in one movie would have be tough.

They really should have just done a straight-up Extremis movie. I finally got around to reading the comic series over the holidays and it was great and made me more annoyed by IM3.

Oh I definitely wasn’t comparing those movies to IM3. I’m just saying calling Catwoman a classic and calling IM3 the best in the MCU are equally ridiculous. I also didn’t want to be seen picking on DC so thought I better include a Marvel film.

Personally I can’t decide if IM3 or Thor 2 is the worst MCU film.

See, I don't think Thor 2 was necessarily bad, I just think it was so unmemorable and offered nothing to the franchise or MCU that it shouldn't have been made.

IM3 was legitimately bad. It neutered a great storyline (Extremis) and cool villain (Mandarin).
