As many have noted, Czarnik is buzzing of late. When CGY signed him I thought he could really help with the secondary scoring and we've seen glimpses of that (recently). If he could run PP2 somewhat how Gaurdreau does it would be amazing.
5 on 5 it looks like he's starting to find the range on his shots - being able to get it away quicker and on target. I really feel like he's going to find a rhythm and get on the scoresheet.

Would you br surprised to learn that last year at this time (Game 45) the Flames had 54 points? Only 6 less than now. I was. Just assumed they were miles better this year.
Also, snakewise, this is the high point of extra crispy last year. After game 45 crispy started falling, never to recover.
Not meant to be a harbinger of doom, just interesting.
Also why I am scared to be cocky.

The dome should offer purple food colouring for beers.
Also watched Florida play last night they are no good. 7-1 Flames

What the hell is with Sportsnet Ontario showing the gdamn Oilers every week, but only one or two Flames games in the last bloody month?
If I were less superstitious, I'd subscribe to Centre Ice. It would have been well worth it the first half...

When do you think the dome will show Brouwers Tribute Video? First period? Second period?

Thought it is going to be in the beginning, right after Gulutzan gives his opening speech.

Not just hungry, but also giving other guys a crack at the spots...not for permanence, but to protect against injury issues.
I don't mind this.
Gotta rotate the young boys a bit. Not a demotion for Hath, just a rest to watch. Not a promotion for Mango (it seemed easy), just an opportunity to shine and show if he's got "it".

Damn bro, your brain is huge.
Figured you would have said David would probably know. Equally right though. It's not like Smith isn't going to play a game again so I'm sure he will be fine, with what 75% of the starts from now?
My god it would be awesome if Smith actually started consistently playing half decent though.

960 just had a trivia question I thought was interesting. Answer surprised me.
Player with most games played with Flames who never played for any other team.
According to Hockey Reference the answer is.

Hear me out on this:
1. Neal has become the new brouwer
2. Brouwer has somehow pulled a space jam and stole Neal's skill when he left town and thus has extended his playing career
3. Neal fights Brouwer
4. ...
5. Neal is back baby!

Yeah I guessed that correctly.
Not sure if they let you win twice in a season. I doubt it since I for sure answered a couple other questions before Steinberg had even finished asking the question.
