Goal scorers: Backlund, Jankowski, Frolik, Tkachuk and Lindholim (PP).

Didn't need to rely too much on the top line tonight, although Johnny got 2 points anyway.

Second line stepped up offensively, and they also had to suppress the MacKinnon line.

Thought they were decent in limiting chances against tonight though. They have been getting horrible goaltending from both goalies for a time as well. They are in one heck of a slump, and I don't mind that at all.

Good teams find ways to win we they really didn’t deserve it. This was one of those, nice to see some secondary scoring and there was plenty of good efforts, Janks stood out well again, Mony had an off night, Rittich was still good despite being a little more shaky then usual at times but gives me faith he can handle when things don’t go his way.

Take it and run, don’t look back we’ve been on the other side of that luck enough we should enjoy it’s going our way this year.

I didn't....they gave up a ton, Flames were missing passes, over skating pucks, just not sharp at all. Calgary just didn't get the pucks to the net but the chances were there IMO

Big win with the Sharks and Vegas playing each other tomorrow.

That second period was awful but I felt the flames didn’t play too bad in the first and third. Way too many turnovers tho, Peters will fix it. Flames were playing a desperate team with an amazing top line. All three guys on the Avs top line played 26 minutes. That’s a good formula to gas out by February

We had no business winning that game; Bill Peters will not be happy with that performance, despite the win. In saying that, I thought Brodie, Janko and Rittich all had great games.

Yikes, I never saw that video of MacKinnon freaking out on Bednar. That's not a good sign if you're an Avs fan. Yikes.

Anyone see MacKinnon arguing with his coach? Did not look happy.
