Derek Dennis and quite a few players are on Twitter angry as hell that the CFL isn’t paying them their off-season bonus this year. The CFL knows these guys are going to have more
Options now with the new league?

This really could effectively kill the talent pool the CFL has with the US players.

I think with the AAFL and XFL and the low Canadian Dollar its going to be tough to get players to come to CFL rookie camps, and that's where the bleed is going to happen.
With all of the defections and uncertainty, I'm certainly expecting a really low quality CFL season next year.

As if the Stamps weren’t gutted enough of talent...
Going to be a much different CFL next season. I hope it won’t end up being unwatchable

Diontae Spencer signed with the Steelers and Tevaugh Campbell signed with the Jets today. The Eskimos released Duke Williams which means he's gone. Mitchell will probably sign with a team. Will this be a record for CFLers getting NFL deals in one offseason? It seems every day more players are getting signed by NFL teams. It feels like the CFL is in for a major talent drain in the coming seasons. I'm actually getting a little worried.

Maybe, but when both of those new leagues fizzle out in a couple years, all that talent, much of it unearthed simply because of those leagues being an option, will have to find somewhere to play, and NFL camps are only so big.
CFL will be fine, it’s gotten past these things before. Bo, like DD before, may get sick of holding a clip board or three in a couple seasons, and come back to play. Many other good players get eaten up and swallowed by the massive NFL machine, and even if they get a signing bonus, thst doesn’t replace playing and they could be cut at a moments notice.
The CFL vs the union this offseason will be a bigger deal to see how that affects many issues with the game and rosters and losing of talent.

No and no.
I don't want any part of a quarterback who was called out by his GM for not being at work early enough.

If I'm reading this data correctly, 73,000 athletes playing NCAA football every year:
http://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/research/football
16,000 draft eligible - 2% play pro football

Contracts without a big signing bonus = little commitment from the team. I'd be surprised of more than a handful actually end up on NFL rosters next season.
That said, CFL teams can't sit around and wait for guys to get cut during the summer and early fall -- they still have rosters to fill once the regular season begins. It will be a season of transition to be sure...

Duke Williams has signed with Buffalo Bills. Have a feeling he might make the team#if they don't draft a bunch of WRs.

I can't see how the Stamps aren't screwed next season. Huff better have some magic up his sleeve.

I hope this Cozart kid is the real deal, I mean I'm not too excited about Nick Arbuckle under centre.

I don't have any doubt Huff will be able to field a team just as good as he's always done. Guy is a wizard at finding these diamonds in the rough and having players off everyones radars fill in perfectly.
