Fired ? He’s signed for next year. They picked up the option half way through this year .

So you think they picked up the option , he went 6-1 and now they fire him...

The whole reason they picked up the option was to trade him ( IMO)

Maybe flip 1sts or Denver’s 2nd makes more sense . But flacco on what’s left of his deal traded would prob be better cap wise for Denver then singing him after a release

I agree with you Rerun, but it would have to happen now to make sense.

Edit: Denver is eating 10 mil if they cut Keenum or paying him 18 if he stays. If elway trades for a washed up old QB to try and save his legacy I’ll go from merely driving the “Elway is a garbage GM” bus to driving it into Dove Valley like the bus from Speed.

Draft a CB or QB at 10, they’re going safe and hiring Pagano or Munchak, keeping Kubiak as OC, and riding out 9-7 for a few years so when Elway’s contract is up in 3 years and he enters politics his legacy isn’t one of rebuild.

Garbage time is the only reason the Ravens offense will finish with positive passing yards. Tebow would have done better.
