Can't believe we won that game...take the points and run.
How much longer are we going to have to endure this awful second PP unit? Give guys like Jankowski, Frolik and Andersson a chance over the current 2nd unit that we have. I'm tired of seeing Ryan turn the puck over or get a shot blocked, Backlund lose a battle, or Neal miss a pass in the slot. Last goal I remember them scoring was against Edmonton at home

Agreed. A timeline of how I've felt about Ryan's game / contributions:
He's not particularly good with the puck, but I find he is great getting the puck back / making plays so teammates can get the puck.
Not sure his role on PP2 is ideal, he seems to be what the strategy is built around. If anything, I'd like to see Rasmus and his slapper added as a common option for PP2.

ryan was also in the upper 60% for expected goals for at 5 on 5. i'm not sure how he does it, given his relative lack of strength and speed, but he seems to be able to turnover pucks and distribute them quite well. a good utility player
