That was a great set play by the Bruins and a lot of goalies would have a heck of a time stopping that puck, however, Mike Smith really looks like he has no ability to move laterally with much ease. He looks stiff and slow. Hard to watch really.

The frustrating thing is, there's a few moments in the game that were clear moments that could have changed things and it's always the same culprits that are involved negatively.

I still think it is apparent that Backlund is much better suited as out third line C. We need a 2nd line C to play with Tkachuk.

You can’t lay all the blame on Smith, buuuttttt, he really is not NHL caliber anymore. And the shame is that management just doesn’t get it.He is not even AHL calibre

Exactly. You can justify goals all day long if you squint hard enough but no team can overcome an .818 save percentage.
