This is true, over the two years Hiller was the superior goalie, but in his second year he was worse than Smith has been so far this year.

I feel good about the game is we keep this energy up. Outside of that crappy 5-3, and a few bad turnovers, we looked like the better team.

Its the same 5 posters pretty much banging the Smith drum every time he plays. No fresh new takes. Just the same recycled thing we all know and already heard a thousand (probably more) times already.
Waa waa waa, Mike Smith is playing goal. Waa waa waa. Pro tip, WE KNOW!

Here are the 3 goalies with a worse save % than Smith: Chad Johnson, Cam Ward and Joonas Korpisalo. That's it. There is no reasonable way to defend Smith at this point. Imagine the numbers Smith would put up on a bad team.

This is exactly what it boils down to. I want to give Smith the benefit of the doubt as a fan, of course. But the stats on him don't lie. He's had a great career and we're watching the end of it as he fades into the sunset. Let's hope we shore up a backup before the end of February.

First goal was terrible but Smith has played pretty well otherwise. Sloppy play in our own end. This isn’t Detroit we’re playing tonight. This team can play defence. Goals
Will be tougher to come by.

Hiller was also bad for letting in the first shot on net in both seasons. Spotted the Canucks a 3-0 lead in game 6 as well.
Just some ugly goaltending aside from Rittich over the past few years.

GOAT!

I couldn’t see clearly what happened when they went down, but the guys were saying Marchand took a swipe at Gio while they were down. I saw Gio spin around really fast like he got hit in the face with something, but couldn’t see what it was clear enough.

Disappointing to come out with such jump, overcome adversity, take the lead while doing it only to find ourselves down a goal.

Right?
It's not the complaining that bothers me. It's bogging down the GT with post after post and it's the same handful of posters every time.
It's nearly unbearable.

Am I going crazy or was that an 83 on Marchands left arm and not 63.

Mike "sieve" Smith is terrible at hockey. Sad! Smith in net a COMPLETE WASTE of a game! Why does Coach Peters want to lose? Gives Bruins UNFAIR advantage! Now they are laughing at us!

That was a big save for Smith at the end of the period on the Gio giveaway . Those are the saves We need when the D makes a mistake .

To be fair second one wasn’t his fault but first goal was sooooo bad

There's no defending him. At this point it's trying to shut everyone up about how much he sucks. We know. You know. Everyone knows.

Exactly, I don't think anyone is surprised by Smith tonight. He is what he is these days. If no one is surprised, do we need multiple pages of "Smith sucks, bad goal" comments?
