Honestly, I hated this team canada, 0 Flames prospects so you already knew they were doomed, and to name Comtois Captain and Bouchard an Assistant? we got what we deserved

Feel so badly for DiPietro, well liked kid from my area, plus a Spits goalie most of his career, we were all rooting for him.

Canada knew, but they needed to make sure the ref did also.

At least the Canadian kids managed to show class in losing. Tough loss, but still managed to respect the ceremony and saluted the crowd.

Hmm.

I seem to recall the Canadian team captained by a Flame won last year...

Blaming the goalie for that loss is more than a little harsh.

He was the best player on the ice, done in by 2 deflections.

The TSN executives are inconsolable over the ratings loss.

Probably the least skilled Canadian jr team in the last decade. No surprise they didn't medal.

Seriously blaming that on the Goalie? I guess he should skate up the ice and score goals to lol!

Nah, not blaming the goalie just poking fun at the Canucks a bit.

No Flames prospects on Team Canada so I don't particularly care how they do.

All good, I have to admit I feel terrible for him even if he’s a Canucks prospect he was the only reason Canada looked somewhat okay. This has to be one of the worst teams skill wise in a while. Comtois got way to much ice time aswell choosing him over a couple of the other kids was dumb not his fault though..

The Vancouver fans chanting Depietro’s name after the game was a nice touch.
