I usually don't like accusing media of bias but Shannon is awful quick to tweet bad news about the Flames and equally quick to post literally every news bit about the Oilers that's positive. Doesn't make me think any better of him when he's in the Oilers rink for all those intermission panels either. If he doesn't live there what's the deal?

Spot on. Clean shot, maybe a bit late, but the kind of statement the Flames have to make if they want to be a contender. In years past there was a lot of consternation on the boards over the lack of push back from the Flames, and that lack of grit invited aggression from opponents. If Bennett were known to be dirty player then this type of thing would be a distraction. He's not. He's a team oriented, hard nosed player, and what the Sharks should take away from the hit is a knowledge that nonsense won't go unpunished and this team will not simply settle for a win, they are demanding respect.
Starting to have the look of a contending team.

Anyone mad about Bennett’s hit shouldn’t be. The flames will be fighting with the sharks all year for the top spot, Bennett was causing them fits all night. Capping off a beat down with a monster hit, albeit a bit late but not a head shot is fine by me. Sharks have had things too easy for a while, times have changed. Sharks are not built to play a tough game, bunch of softies on that team.
If Bennett gets suspended so should Dell
