What was with the Sharks and their coach getting all pissy at the end? Better be mad at only themselves for not taking the game when it was served to them on a silver platter.

Kane shouldn’t have done what he did.

He forced Bennett’s hand.

Bennett suspension...Kane/Dell will get nothing. Ref could have ended it all with a 2 min penalty but will also get off Scott free.

Usual suspects will suggest the league doesn't play favourites

Fun game to watch from start to finish. You know it is a high scoring game (or I am getting old) when I can't remember who scored a goal or so, and have to look it up.

Poor Bennett - constantly gets goals waved off or overturned on a challenge, then he gets speared and the refs don't even see it. Hopefully he won't get any supplementary discipline - hit was a bit late, but I would be shocked if the NHL really look at it. He had a monster game otherwise.

Neal with a goal and Frolik with his 200th (and 201st) assist. Anybody call that tonight?

These Flames games are really "can't miss" NHL games. There are about 5 or 6 teams in the NHL that I always try to watch when the Flames aren't playing because of the entertainment value. Trying not to be biased here, but you have to imagine that most non-Flames' fans enjoy watching this team this year. Serious breath of fresh air into this organization again.

I only caught the first, but have been watching the score. Was this just a "throw away the tape" kind of game?

Yeah anyone claiming that hit wasn't late....come on.

Likely will get supplemental.

That was another fun game! Glad the Flames kept the pedal to the floor. Awesome for the top 2 lines to dominate.

The mayhem at the end was all the refs fault -- should have called Dell on the penalty against Bennett.

Happy New Year everyone!

It is 1 second after the pass, not late at all. Feel free to go rewatch it

Tkachuk shouldn't have elbowed Karlsson in the face either but this is exactly what this team needs. We aren't going to win any playoff games scoring 8 and playing nice.

You gotta stand up for yourself. I completely endorse what Bennett did there. Game is still going on; gotta keep your head up.

Crazy game! I honestly thought the Sharks might come back after scoring early in the 3rd, but then the Flames said "f*** this" and completely took over. Pretty gutsy character win by the boys tonight.

Massive night by the top line. Man, those guys are fun to watch!

3M line was great all night. Nice to see them reunited.

James Neal scored? Holy crap!!

I thought Rittich struggled at times tonight, but he still made some huge saves when we needed them. I'd be ok with Smith getting the next start, if only to give Dave a rest.

No doubt Bennett will be suspended for a game or two for that hit, even though it was a perfectly clean hit right in the chest. Only when you watch it in slow motion does it look slightly late. Meanwhile Dell will get away scott free for his intent to injure when he speared Bennett in front of the net. My god, the officiating in this game was atrocious.
