Would be a very unique collection!

I have the full list.
RBK
Home Red: 10 Versteeg, 79 Ferland
Retro: 7 Brodie
Script Alts: 93 Bennett, 19 Jones
Heritage Classic: 34 Kiprusoff
Adidas
Retro: 18 Neal
It's a little out there, for sure. And yeah, I got a pretty good deal on the Neal one.

Neal is getting plenty of shot opportunity, and is doing absolutely nothing with them. I don't see any indication that's he's going to turn it around since be's been constantly getting chances. Really what more could be done for him at this point?
It's funny how Flames might actually be better off with Brouwer than signing James Neal. By far Treliving worst mistake. What a waste of money.

Neal had a primary assist taken away last night. He's on pace to get more shots this year than Brouwer did total as a Calgary Flame.
He will be fine.

The flames #2 pp needs a shakeup. Neal should be on the unit and parked on the right side looking for a one timer.

What I notice is how frequently Neal’s shots hit the goalie right in the jersey crest. I think he’s getting so embarrassed and desperate to score that he’s just flinging it at the net and not taking his time. He needs to summon up a bit of patience.

He reminds me allot of Tony Amonte’s last year with the Flames.

This is actually one of the things that scares me right now. Neal is in one of his better stretches of the season and still can’t find a way to score. Eventually when he’s in a stretch where he’s not playing well, it’ll be even more difficult for him to find the back of the net.
The shot attempts are equally scary because the team is paying an absolute premium for him to execute on those shots. That’s why snipers are paid more than your average shooter. They generally score with less attempts. That was Iggy, didn’t need 50 shots just to pot one home. Needed a few shots here and there. I thought that’s what we were getting, but it’s been almost 2 months since his last goal.
People may have a massive hate on Brouwer. But for a 4th liner last season, I didn’t think he was out of place. I’m at the point now where I actually wished we had kept Brouwer instead of signing another potential albatross. Luckily for Neal’s sake, the team is actually winning anyway, otherwise he’d be getting his teeth kicked in every night for being more unproductive than Brouwer ever was.

I mean, yes, really. You're disputing something that actually happened. The Flames put the puck in the net and it was ruled no goal. If it had been called a goal, James Neal would've recorded the primary assist.
Are you here to dispute that? Because if you are, then you're in some sort of alternate dimension.

You just made it seem like if he recorded an assist last night, it would of somehow turned his season around. He looked like the exact same Neal last night as he has all season.

And we're living in the present, where they're producing the exact same goal wise. At least Lucic has size going for him.

Neal’s value to this team isn’t just goals though...Neal is:
- Great in the face off circle
- Amazing on the penalty kill
- A consistent playmaker, bringing his line mates into the game
- Always a massive physical presence
- Ready to drop the gloves when needed
If he wasn’t doing all that stuff and was paid 5.75 million for the singular role of being a sniper and scoring goals, I’d imagine folks would be pretty upset right now.

You don't pay 5.75 millions for those things. You do it for goals, since goals actually matter in the scoresheet, and who wins and loses games.
All that doesn't justify how much money has been spent on him.
