Looking back at that Oiler playoff run, what a fantastic result for Flames fans. If not for that playoff run, the Oilers save $2-4 million in cap space in signing Draisaitl and McDavid.
Drai was signed for $8.5M, had the Oilers not done well in those playoffs, hard to imagine Drai gets more than $6.5M.
