While a terrible play, going by the league of justice wheel; no injury=no suspension

Fine is more likely

Sigh of relief. Byfugs with such a moronic play.

I would sure like to know what buff was jawing about after the slash.

He got roasted, I hope he was owning that

This is good. Looked like a stinger like when you smack your elbow on something and your hand feels like it will never work properly again for a minute or two but, ultimately, no harm done.

Edit: I hope he means "fine" like when I say fine and not like when my wife says it.

More the wideman effect term. That should have stopped years ago.

I'm not sure how anyone could watch the replay and conclude he was embellishing.

He should have said that his arm is shattered beyond repair and that his career is over... and then make a miraculous comeback Saturday against the Canucks. You know, just to get a couple extra spins on the Wheel of Justice.

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames LW Johnny Gaudreau on slash from Byfuglien: “It’s part of hockey. Won’t be the last time I’m slashed. I was just kind of surprised. I had a foot or two on him, so I didn’t think I was going to get a stick to the arm, but found the empty net. That’s the way it goes.”

Why was Buff in the box after it though? Shouldn't Johnny's goal negate the delayed PP?

Exactly....simply not that big of a deal. Happens all the time, though this one was likely higher than intended.

Also not sure what Buf was whining about after the call....just seemed so odd.

They don't like how Gaudreau took his glove off when he was slashed to the upper arm and not the hand.

Why does this need to happen though? Who does it benefit? It's not a hockey play and it injures players multiple times every season. League needs to crack down on it, hard.
