Just gonna leave this here. It may only be temporary tonight depending on the results of the OOT, but I just love looking at it.

That shootout just killed the momentum of an amazing OT, I'm so done with it.
Make it 10 min 3 on 3, then end er in a tie

All the talk on the radio and TV about the game being a measuring stick for the Flames.
Well I think they did pretty damn well. Obviously some rough patches, but what can you expect, they're playing aginst the top team in the league, not Edmonton
Awesome game of hockey that the Flames were unlucky to lose. Refs ->
Should be yet another confidence builder, just in time to crush the Blues again, which I won tickets to see.

Completely agree. No player could have done better there. Even if he tried to glove it to get at it earlier, he'd still have to glove it into the corner. Team was unlucky on the goal with the deflection.

Tough to be too upset with the result.
We looked better than the best team in the league, took them to OT and lost after 7 rounds of shootout.

Great game and fun to watch.
I do hope they take the St. Louis game seriously. Would be easy to drop the level and just pretend you'll walk over the Blues after competing hard with the Lightning.

Just got home from the game fuming. Not because of the game -- oh well -- but because of the stupid dumb shootout.

That was an excellent game. Hard to walk away upset about anything when our guys just went toe to toe with the class of the league and looked every bit their equal. Being a team like that is the goal and the Flames look like they can legitimately do it with the guys who are already on the roster. I'm ecstatic after this one.
How about Kylington!?!? From the AHL to playing Point and Kucherov like a vet. Great game from him, best I have ever seen him play!
Bennett was great and looked TALENTED as well as hard working and fast. Gaudreau was the best player on the ice. Backlund was so good too, incredibly fast. Did you see Tkachuk try and scoop up the puck behind the net!? What a goal that would have been.
Please stop wasting all of your analysis on Neal! This was a hell of a game.

Furthermore, TB is not just the top team in the League. They are the top team by a country mile. They are the only team in the NHL that does not have a single weakness. They are as good as any team has been in the past two decades.
Good job, Flames. The shootout sucks.

Did Bennett get shootout chance? Nice game by him - not sure if him and Lindholm swapping was needed but Peters is doing great. Splitting hairs.

How did we do against the Stars without him? Can't you just be happy we took the top team to OT? The guy is an average 20 goal scorer and is having a tough start after playing until ####ing June two years in a row. Where were the flames players in June of 2018? 2017? Didn't he also go deep with the Preds in 2015? Sure he's struggling but he's not the reason we lost by 1 tonight. Give your head a shake.

It should be said that this game is a totally acceptable result. One point against the undisputed best team in hockey? Man, I'll take that every day of the damn week. Not only that, but the Flames outshot them and looked quite good. There are some areas for them to improve, but man... good effort. Hope they come out well against St. Loo.

Show Neal some support instead of throwing him under the wheels of bus

Please watch the replays of the goal scored against his line. I can't believe there is some guys trying to defend him. I get it. We all want him to turn it on. But he is slow and disinterested. There is no doubt about that. It's obvious he is whining about not playing on the top lines, can you not see that? Over thirty games in. He cost us a point tonight. Name one other 5.7 MILLION dollar player that with the Puck on his stick panics and throws it in the corner? More than likely they throw their but out and skate to a safe area and backhand the Puck out of our zone. COM'ON man

We have a nasty habit of making suspect goalies look good. And God is the shoot out a disgrace to the game! I detest it. Also, Peters needs to call out the officials or something. This is getting beyond ridiculous with the consistent crap officiating. I don't know if this is a league-wide phenomenon, nor do I care. But night in, night out, we get #### on. Can someone tell these asshats that Dennis Wideman no longer plays for us?
