Man, Neal does not fit on that line with Backlund and Tkachuk. I recall earlier in the year he was tried there, and the same issues were persisting.

Neal misreads that pass and it leads to the pressure, leads to the PK. Head isn't in the game. Needs to see a sports psychologist specialist and get his focus back.

I don't think Neal is being "lazy" nor "floating".
I do think his confidence is completely shot which in turn leads to squeezing the stick every time the puck comes to him, that it looks comically bad.
Not making excuses for him at all as he is the only one who can get himself out of it, but it sure looks like a guy lost in the wilderness at this point....like the game has become foreign to him.
