I haven't seen a period like this in years. They were relentless on the puck. Just awesome!

It's Old Era Flames D vs. New Era Flames D! I like what we got now!
I always hated getting Butlered every game.

When was the last time that the Blues is this bad...or the Flames is emerging as one of the top teams in NHL? Such a dominant period, and BSD has yet to make his first Big Save !

I hope Peters can continue to make appropriate adjustments. Otherwise it was an ok period.

I hope you're joking

If we pull off B2B afternoon wins, I’m kicking the angel off my tree and putting up a picture of Peters.

I don't.
I remember what the blues did to us for about a span of 5-6 years in that arena.
I hope we keep steamrolling. How long have we waited for a team like this while seeing half the western conference have their turn of excellent hockey and perennial playoffs?
It's our time now, let's embrace it.

I'd be cycling him with Czarnik for play time as our extra guy, he certainly deserves to stay with the team. I like both players quite a bit. Saves us from pretty much ever having to use guys like Peluso too.

Anyone have time of possession for that period? That was something else.

Exactly, hey. He inspires confidence offensively on top of playing perfect bottom six hockey. Amazing guy to have for a playoff run.

They have to fire him first. then it's back to the abyss.
Hitch is good for 2-3 years. His coaching has a shelf life.

No, 2 players passing it back and forth repeatedly doesn't eliminate the secondary assist. They'll add it for Lindholm if he was the one that passed to them originally.

Sometimes you run into a red hot goalie, these things happen.

having backlund back makes such a big difference. dude defends, forces turnovers and skates pucks through traffic against A+ competition without seeming to break out a sweat. such a fantastic player
