Yeah, I'm off to Kamloops tommorrow, but I'm coming through the North end. Still I'm always a bit leary driving through the mountains at this time of year. Thankfully the Yellowhead is at least worthy of being a second world highway and it doesn't have that much traffic. I don't envy you having to drive that embarassment known as the TransCanada.

Leaving for Calgary tomorrow morning to spend the holidays with the parents and my brothers and their families. Flying home on Jan 1 - hopefully I make it home in time to catch the Orange Bowl. The only thing I'm going to miss is my Christmas morning surf

We are leaving at lunch today to head up to Northern-BC. My family has a large get together every year. They think we are staying in Calgary this year because of our new baby, but we are going to surprise them.
There is definitely something about being home and around friends and family that makes Christmas what it is.

Staying in Lethbridge. My parents live here as do my wife's parents. We split Christmas eve between our parents. Spend Christmas day with my wife's family, and boxing day with my family.

Just got back to Calgary last night. This will be my first "homecoming" christmas..It does feel pretty cool. I think i'm gonna enjoy all the little things and just being home and eating my mom's home cooked meals again.
