In today's world she could be anything she wants, and if you dont address her properly she can call you a Nazi!
Lol...sorry
Someone sounds bitter that hes responsible for Backlund's concussion.
For shame Monahan. For shame.
For what its worth I loved Peters' response in his post-game: the game was over at the open-ice trip and it should have been an automatic goal and game over.
If its anyone's fault, its the refs'.

The World Ends when you're dead. Until then, you've got more punishment in store. - Flames Fans
If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Personal accountability is an illusion, the universe is an orderless chaotic mess and we have no option but to listlessly drift along with no thought to how our actions affect others because we can not hope to control anything.
A team down 2-0 with 1 minute to go is a desperate, dangerous thing, a team down 3-0 is a dead fish. Monahan had the opportunity to create a safe situation for his team mates and made a dumb error instead. The Backlund hit wasn't entirely his fault, or even majority his fault, but he does shoulder some of the blame. If I was in Monahan's shoes, I'd feel like a giant dumb ass about it.
This is literally one of the dumbest things ever posted to this forum.

I still do not understand the love affair with Bennett at Center. We know that did not go well for over a full season and when you have so many more accomplished centermen, you don't put the square peg back into the round hole and hope it works out. It's not even fair to Bennett at this point as he's found a niche on the wing and I would be shocked if Peters went this route.
This team can either slot down Lindholm at EV strength (which to me is the smartest move) or can move Jankowski up and give him a chance with better players, which would tell us a great deal about him however long a shot that would be. Unless Backlund broke/dislocated something we can't assume he'll miss more than 3-4 games as concussions are such a wildcard from person to person.
Bennett centred Chiasson, Versteeg and Brouwer, while being coached by Gulutzan. I’d like to see anyone succeed in that situation.
I think it would be unwise to split up Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm right now if we don’t need to. They’re too damn good.
Too many split second decisions happen to make statements like, "Monahan didn't do this so it lead to Backlund's injury blah blah." So many other things happened from that moment up to the injury that you could pick on then.
Should Monahan have scored? Absolutely. But does he shoulder the blame for Backlund's injury? Not at all.
It's self-evident, actually. Sean Monahan bears no responsibility whatsoever for the actions of Matt Dumba - or Mikael Backlund for that matter - no matter how badly you and Erick Estrada want to make him out as a bad guy. Suggesting that he "shoulders some blame" honestly forces me to question your mental faculties.
I can use your exact logic to argue that Andrew Mangipane should feel like a "dumb ass" who "failed to create a safe situation" because he missed a wide open net in the first period. After all, all other things being equal, that would have also made it 3-0. Hell, I could likely use your logic to make any player on either roster out to be the bad guy. Which only underscores how absurd your position is.

I think Bennett's game has progressed and he is doing more cnetre-like things. Also, who did he centre before? This time it would be Tkachuk and someone like Neal or maybe Czarnik/Mangiapane. I think his chances of success are a little higher.
I agree you never know with concussions. But Backlund missed about a week before skating again last time he had a concussion. Granted, it was world cup and training camp time.

For those interested, Peters's PC begins @ 20:30. I love how he walks out in the middle of his final answer.

I hope its nothing too serious. If Backlund is out for a few games I actually really want to see how Gaudreau would play with Lindholm at center and Neal on RW. They looked really good together at the short time they were together(about a period). I think it is the perfect time to get Neal going, meanwhile Monahan will still generate plenty of offense.
