Avengers 4 trailer right now is rumoured for a Dec 5th release. Nothing confirmed from the studio but multiple news outlets reporting the same date, either they are all wrong or something is coming.

Second trailer is good, got a bit more background on the story but I still have a lot of questions I look forward to the movie answering. That anti-aging tech they got on Jackson is just spot on.

Comic nerd spoilers: The second Captain Marvel in the comics was Monica Rambeau, who has also used Photon as a hero name (she's also gone by Spectrum and Pulsar). Looks like her mother inspired the hero name and has history with Carol in the MCU.

I heard that due to Bush Sr's funeral they have decided not to put out the trailer tomorrow as it's a national day of mourning.
Maybe I will get used to them but just from that clip the under water sound effects are super annoying and distracting.

Black Panther picked up a nom for best picture at the Golden Globes! Super exciting for Black Panther and the genre as a whole! Fingers crossed for that Oscar nom! I'm pretty sure A History of Violence & Road to Perdition were both nominated for best picture and both were comic book adaptations but this will be the first superhero nomination for best picture.
All the reviews I’ve seen so far for Into the Spiderverse indicate it is so good it should win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. I hope this brings on the animated superhero feature renaissance. We should have had one after Mask of the Phantasm but it didn’t perform well in theatres.
DC already makes the best animated movies so hopefully they sink som money into a couple bigger budget feature films.
There’s also Isle of Dogs. It would be refreshing to see a non-Disney film win but we all know it’ll just be Incredibles 2 because the animated feature category is just a popularity contest.
