Reading along with that timeline is so heart-wrenching. Especially when hearing how the team even bought the other party drinks beforehand to try to ease tensions. I guess it wasn't enough for that clown

Wow that's crazy. These are the kind of people I don't feel sorry for, being locked up and having the key throw away. Sounds like the Stamps players' did everything, and then some, to try and defuse the situation.

Any word on if the other 2 guys in the vehicle are being charged? Sounds like they played a big part in allowing this to happen. Thank god they were stupid enough to come wandering back and get spotted.

I remember the Mother after the shooting saying she just wanted to collect her son's body and never come back. Thought he was coming to the safest city in Canada, only to have him murdered by some goon looking for trouble.

Heartbreaking stuff.

Yeah, the toughest thing I read as a Canadian who's proud of our low crime rates and safe country was Mylan Hick's mother recounting being notified of her son's shooting. "Your son was involved in a shooting" "No he wasn't, he's playing football in Canada".
