Well he’s been pretty bad the last few games IMO. Horrible giveaways, bad positioning, blown tires

Team defense has been horrid tonight. Not a lot of shots for the Hawks but they've had numerous fantastic chances. Keep that up in the 3rd and the Flames just might find a way to lose this game yet. The number of breakaways tonight is ridiculous.

Have to tighten up a lot in the third.

At work, usually can get to watch some of the game on free range TV or sports net app, but both tell me I am out of range or blacked out, something last game also. I live near St Albert and work in sweatpants town.

I just have to say that it's really encouraging the way we push other teams around. The score does not always reflect it but the ability for this team to just go out and have their way with the opposition is something I haven't seen in a lot of years, and it seems to grow stronger as the season goes on. Now if we could just put teams away earlier and more often that would be great, but it's nice to cheer for a really good team.

I’m not seeing things the same ways - and even if he has made those mistakes, what harm has it done? Through 2 periods tonight Kylington is an even +/- player at the NHL level this season.

Flames have been dominant territorially, but have been really bad defensively at times.

Absolutely no blaming Smith.

Need to tighten it up and have a solid 3rd. We've got this.

As Darryl Sutter used to say.

I agree, if they keep playing like this the wins will come, I bet we will see more lopsided games as the season moves along unless the Flames suddenly start playing worse.

How has Smith looked on his 14 saves?

How has he looked on the two goals?

It would be really nice if they can get another goal early and close it. Cant let the Hawks back in and need to play better defensively.

We’re tops in the division and have been actively developing Andersson and Valimaki all year, and they have not been perfect.

Kylington is the 8/9 guy on the depth charts. He has been as good as anyone could expect so far. Maybe better.

I still don't think Kylington is ready for a full-time spot. Definitely needs another year in the minors imo

The Flames have doubled the Hawks in shots, however I’d say the Hawks have almost doubled the Flames with more high danger scoring chances. He’s been solid but yet still seems a bit nervey. Hope he keeps it together another 20.

He's been our best player and he's faced more tough shots than Crawford IMO. Can't blame either GA on him either.

It's been an ugly game.

Both Breakway goals. depends on how hard your stance or disdain for Smith is.
If you're a fire him into the sun guy, fuel to your fire. If you use some objectivity, Defense has been brutal. He's batting about .500 or better on odd man rushes.
