There is no pleasing some of you, guy makes a save and you gotta whine about style points? Maybe next game he will get a shutout and you will still bitch he handled the puck too much! Lol!

No, but with clear cut breakaways to Kane and Toews, is 1 for 2 a surprising or poor result?

It's pretty much what I would expect on any goalie.

All he had to do was keep the 5-hole closed. Someone should tell Smith that.

Maybe he's helping negotiate Matt's contract...

Right. Just tell the goalie to make the save. Simple. We've solved it.

Don't ape hangar Bennett, he'll hurt you Manning.

Also that was a little too karate kid on Saad by Backlund.

Now they're playing In Flames! I need to go see a game in CHI.

I just want him to make the first 8-10 saves in a game, Rittich has no issue doing that. Smith looks awkward and hesitant in net. Yes he still makes saves but he doesn’t look steady whatsoever. He’s a mistake waiting to happen, a la Brian Elliott.

And then Toews goes wide and roofs. You tell me how Smith moves side to side there without opening up a bit.
