Preds Juniors off to WJC
The following Preds will be participating in the World Juniors.
USA:
G Jeff Zatkoff
D Erik Johnson
Sweden:
G Jhonas Enroth
D Jonas Ahnelov
no forwards
rest off our guys snubbed, or are overagers. good luck to the following and Go! Canada! Go!
Also few of the guys we drafted over the summer, who were than traded, made the respective teams.
Thomas Kana and Martin Bartos are on Czechs.
Dan Rahimi on Swedes.
Jusso Pusstinen and Timo Seppanen on the Fins.

Yeah, I should thank you for releasing Puustinen. He's the only junior I have going to that tournament. The rest of my prospects are too old, and too bad.

not too sure as it says its the fins prliminary roster but he shud make it....and on the right side, ya can see all the rosters Droppy.

Those are actually the preliminary rosters, not after cuts. Puustinen did not make the final cut (dissapointing as a Flames fan as I was looking forward to seeing him play).
I haven't been able to find one source that has all the final rosters.

even the official site is messed...canada and the US have announced theirs and thet are on tsn's page

Yeah its frustrating. On hfboards some of the posters have links to the rosters but they are all over the place. Makes it tough as a fan.

Well I think Puustinen was the only guy I had who was even close....Funny they flew him over there and than cut his ass. Oh well several players got cut from tourney rosters and still went on to do something in their lives.....Like work at Walmart.

Sabres hopefuls that should be going to the U20s include Rask, McArdle, Hellstrom, Kindl and Mikus. haven't seen final confirmation on a few of those. of course I believe a large number of good former Sabre prospects will also attend
