Ideally the flames will platoon like the did with the Hillier/Ramo year where it just felt like one of those guys would heat up when the other is cooling down.
Thought the game was a bit of a sloppy affair on the Flames part, but they did the rope-a-dope well when needed, backchecked pretty well but gave up a few chances, though only a couple turned into Grade A ones.
Boring, but effective. Happy with the outcome and glad that Jonathan "3 posts tonight" Hockey managed to get that monkey off his back.
So it appears we have a very good "problem" of having a surplus of solid D-men. Once Valimaki is back, and Stone is cleared (hopefully this year some time), we are going to be sitting/sending down 2 very capable players.
I wonder if we make a trade at some point for a goalie or winger?
The final score line seemed an accurate reflection. Would have really hurt not to walk away with two points from the Kings when the Ducks and Knights have picked up their games so much recently. The division is starting to look like it's going to be a real battle again.

2 on the way out some guy stop my 16 year old son to tell him that the flames are first in thepacific. My son was wearing his kings jersey. In fairness my son is 6 foot 2 maybe close to.three so he may look a little older
