I don't mind the break, as long as they feed me new episodes from when it starts up till the season finale.
And I don't mind this DayBreak show that has taken over it's time slot for the time being.

16 straight weeks of new episodes apparently.
I watched seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, and then started season 3 on TV, and it just isn't the same. The same goes for Prison Break. I think I am all but done with shows like these on TV. DVD is the only way for me to go.

Yeah it's nice to have the freedom to watch up to 3 episodes in a row because it get's so good. Kind of annoying to wait a week between.

I guess I like to watch it live, so I can discuss it with my friends. There is so much that one person or another might miss; like the fact that when Michael and Sawyer's raft was in the water, the shark that was checking them out had a Darma logo on it. To me, if you are watching it on DVD you are missing out on the whole discussions about the show.
As for the break, I would rather have just new ones on; rather than trying to keep guessing as which episodes are new or old; and which ones I need to record.

Define dead? As long as it finishes the current season I'm happy. They can't really do too much with the show truthfully.

Dead, as in no further episodes are likely to ever air on ABC. They might release the unaired episodes on their website, but that's pretty much it.

I believe in the Pony Power

^^Same thing happened with Kidnapped. They produced the full season but the remaining episodes are only available on the NBC site.
Which if you're in Canada doesn't help you.
So you're fuggered.
