You win some UFA signings (Frolik, Hudler, Engelland) and you lose some (Brouwer, Raymond)
I really hope Neal doesn’t end up on the latter category.

Your "fact" was that Neal couldn't hit the net. He did. Your "fact" is that Monahan took a penalty leading to a goal. It was Hamonic. And assuming games are "one" by scoring I'd assume that the line with more pucks on net is doing better than the one that has less. lindholm has 4 shots, and at least 3 were great chances. And it's the bottom line that has points.
Backlund is getting dummied in the faceoff circle. I can't think of a good play by Chuckie.

Production matters at Neal’s contract number, good efforts are for entry level contracts and 4th liners.

When it's 3am and it's the only place still open that delivers it's pretty dammed good. Cannot comment on sober 73.

He's not without fault but he's a finisher being used as a playmaker. That's like putting Hamilton on the PK and wondering why it's not working out

No one is arguing that. I'm arguing that he can hit the net. Because he did.

Neal should have bombed it there instead of dropping a bad pass to brodie in the corner. SHOOT man. You're a shooter.

Still needs to pick up the scoring though, of the two free agent signings that the Flames are paying this year, one has 6 goals and one has 3.
Brouwer - 6
Neal - 3
Hopefully he gets more goals than Troy Brouwer by the end of the year.

Peters gave him 3M in the second. And now he's giving him the top line. Interesting.
