Now let's say Smith continues to play solid until the final buzzer. At that point, do we have a goaltending problem for next game? That is a good problem to have. In my mind, I still think Rittich has earned the right to take the ball and run with it for the foreseeable future.

Looked like he was trying for the corner but unfortunately went where he shoots a lot...at the goalie's chest. He has no deke moves in him.
